Foosball, or table football, or table soccer, is one of the best games to play when you are feeling the need to vent extra energy at the bar or arcade. It definitely evokes fun and excitement. Each game involves a table fitted with rods numbering eight – four for each player. There are a total of 13 player figures attached to these rods, corresponding to a regular football team. Each end of the table along its length has a goal set in the middle, and players push, pull and twist at the bars to strike the single foosball into the opponent’s goal post. The center of the table has a place set aside to serve the ball.

The objective of this game, of course, is to keep the other guy from scoring a goal in your post, while you get past their defenses to score one in theirs. The spacing of the rods is different, which means you should be some good to actually win against a regular player, or lucky enough to achieve that outcome. Just like in the real-world version, onlookers are always set to cheer for their favorite team. A singles game has one player for each team while a doubles game has two. Spinning and misconduct are not allowed. This game can be played in 9, 7, or 5 points, and matches are generally set to be won by best of 3 or 5.
